Boat Illustrations

Firstly if this is a Gift, please let me know when you need it by as I would hate to disappoint. My turnaround time increases towards Christmas. 

You can either buy directly through this website, or preferably pay a deposit of £50 with the balance due on completion. Once purchased, I'll need you to send me some up to date photos of your boat. Ideally, good quality photos and, and the more the merrier. Especially think of detail such a signwriting, stern and bow, windows, cans, tiller pins etc.

The illustration itself takes 3-4 weeks (longer at Christmas). I will show you my progress along the way, and love to hear your suggestions. Your print will come with 2 lines of text of your choice, from a wide variety of fonts. People often include the boat name, year of build, builder, dimensions etc. 

You will receive a final proof to your email before anything goes to print.

Once you've accepted the proof, it will be printed on Fine Art paper in my riverside studio on the Weaver Navigation.

If you've opted for a print alone, you are welcome to collect or this will be posted tracked delivery in a card backed envelope. 

Many customers choose to have their artwork framed as well, I use a local framer (Framing Cheshire) and all frames are either black or dark wood, with a 50mm coloured mount to match the illustration. Framing takes approx 4-5 weeks. 

Once complete your final payment is due. Postage is an additional cost and depends on the frame, location etc. You are very welcome to collect from Northwich too if needed.
