Your wedding invites are all about getting the info to your guests clearly. They should look great and match your theme, but the main goal is to share the right details, right?
Awesome! So, what’s next?
If you’ve booked with Rose & Grace, you should have your Sample Pack by now. Check out some of my previous designs and see how other couples worded their invites. Take notes on what you like or don’t like.

Now it’s your turn to decide what you want your invites to say.
Think about your wedding vibe. Is it going to be fancy or laid-back? The wording can set the tone. For instance, “We’re getting married! Please join us!” feels way more casual than “Mr. and Mrs. Smith request the pleasure of your company at the wedding of their daughter Alice to Mark.”
Also, think about whether you want to include details like accommodation, taxis, gifts, transport etc. Do you have a website for guests to check out? Lots to consider!
Once you know what you want to say and what to include, the next step is to write it all down. This is the critical part.

While jotting down your ideas on paper is fine, I need the text in a DIGITAL TEXT format. I sadly cannot and won't accept photos of your writing.
Why though?
Firstly, it saves time: Typing your wording takes hours and delays the design process.
Secondly, risk of errors: Poor photo quality or unreadable handwriting can lead to mistakes, like incorrect ceremony times or phone numbers. Do you really want your guests to rsvp to an incorrect number, or turn up to the ceremony two hours late?
Thirdly, there will be fewer mistakes: Typed text has likely been subconsciously proofread by yourself, again reducing errors. I know this point is basically the same as the second point, but I can't stress it enough!
So, how do you want the text providing then?
I've put together a Content Questionnaire for you! Before diving in, chat with your partner about what you want the invites to say. This Blog Post has some cool ideas to get you started.
When you're ready, open the questionnaire together. It's easier on a laptop, computer, or tablet, especially if you have lots of text.
Make sure to answer the questions as accurately as you can. Write the text exactly how you want it on the invites. For example, instead of saying "yes there is accommodation," say "Our venue has 10 rooms available. Please call 07541421886 or visit their website to book your room."
If there is anything you don't yet know, leave it blank or enter TBC. We can revisit bits as we go through the design process. The important part is writing the text exactly as you would like it so I can copy and paste directly into my design software.
Hopefully this helps, and thank you for reading!
